Meet the Doctors
Dr. Robert Beck earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from Indiana University. He completed his pediatric residency at The Ohio State University where he served as chief resident his final year.
Dr. Beck is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In 1982, Dr. Beck established Blanchard Valley Pediatrics, Inc. He loves children of all ages and feels fortunate to be able to provide medical care to young people in the Findlay area.
Dr. Beck and his wife, Marjean, have three children and six grandchildren.
Robert D. Beck
Dr. Ami J. Orr graduated from the University of Michigan and earned her medical degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine. She served her pediatric residency at the Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and graduated in 1995. She was a chief resident at Columbus Children's Hospital from 1995 - 1996. Dr. Orr is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In 2001 Dr. Orr joined Blanchard Valley Pediatrics, Inc. Dr. Orr has a special interest in ADHD and developmental pediatrics.
Dr. Orr enjoys music and founded the Findlay Youth Orchestra in 2009, she resides in Findlay with her husband and two children.
Ami J. Orr
Andrew N. Ritz
Dr. Andrew Ritz was born and raised in New York City. He graduated from The State University of New York at Binghamton in 1980, and received his medical degree from The Medical College of Ohio at Toledo in 1984. He completed a three year pediatrics residency at The University of Connecticut Health Center in June 1987, and has been with Blanchard Valley Pediatrics since July 1987. Dr. Ritz is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow with the American Academy of Pediatrics.
He lives in Findlay with his two dogs. His daughter Madeline is a teacher here in Findlay and his son Elliott lives in North Carolina and is a first responder. Dr. Ritz has one grandchild, Owen and enjoys photography, cinema and music.
